Silk, England, late 18th c., comprising three pictorial embroideries with finely painted facial details: a woman spinning yarn with a cat at her side (oval, framed dimensions 8 x 9.5 inches), a woman beside a grave monument with the name "WERTER" on urn (round, framed dimension 9.75 in. diameter), a man with sailing ship in background (oval, framed dimensions 8.12 x 9.62 in.); also a floral embroidery with a spray of roses and a brown butterfly, embroidered on black silk (framed dimensions 11.5 x 13.5 in.)

All mounted under transparent mesh and framed in old frames under glass; all with fading and discoloration; woman at grave with tiny tear to silk background; floral piece with some inconspicuous shredding to background silk; all frames with wear and chips, one with bubble in glass; not examined out of frames.
