Most Dudley decoys reflect the period in which he carved them which is the first quarter of the twentieth century. They decoys were larger and showed up better in the open sound where most of the hunting took place. This example has a pronounced hump back and neck shelf.

Old gunning paint, working repair to neck, moderate scuffing down to wood in areas.
