the first is a 19th century salt glaze stoneware 'Bachelor's teapot' and cover with underside impressed stamp "S & H Briddon" (metal repair to the spout), the second is an 18th century creamware hand-painted, with cover, cross-twist handle (5 1/2 in.) (nicks to spout, floral clay residue to the interior). The third teapot, Staffordshire, 1750-60, the glaze imitating the swirl pattern of agate, full bodied with a Foo dog knop, looped handle, three mask and paw feet, not marked (allover restorations) (4 1/2 in.) and the 4th is a Wedgwood basalt pot with cover, late 18th century, Sybil finial, engine turned bands, impressed mark (good condition).
