Attributed to the up-country of South Carolina, second half 19th century, yellow pine case with old original dark washed surface, one piece form, applied stepped cornice, two large hinged paneled doors the interior left with shelves and the right for hanging, lower paneled drawer, paneled sides, distinctive scalloped skirt, straight feet fro the stile.

78 x 46 x 20 in., case width 42 in.

A good pure example of up-country vernacular furniture.
