Boards with light marks, wear at head and tail of spine with gilt rubbed on vol. 2, corners of vol. 1 slightly bumped, slight separation from text block; edges and endpapers lightly foxed, vol. 1 with pen mark on fore-edge; slight waviness to plates, one with mark; jackets lightly scuffed with edgewear including light fraying, several closed tears, and small losses, spines toned with evidence of light damp staining, and each with small hole, minor scattered foxing, not price clipped; slipcase scuffed with significant edgewear, paper losses at corners, and (2) small paint stains; very good in about good jackets.
