Wool warp and weft, c. 1868-1870s, woven in three-ply Germantown yarn in a design of striped purple and black bands, with red and white serrated diamond shaped medallion to center and with serrated zigzag pattern motifs to field.

Vertical fade line throughout the purple yarns; scattered small holes; minor staining; otherwise good estate condition.
