Early 19th century, a pair of porcelain jars with covers, mirrored pair, hand painted with figures dressed in early Chinese attire in a lush outdoor garden, one stands by an ornate marble topped table with a vase of narcissus while her attendant brings her a letter, children gathered in the garden at play, the reverse side with a Chinese calligraphy inscription together with a red seal, pointed gilt finials to covers, come together with carved wooden stands.
