Mid 20th century, porcelain jar with domed cover hand painted in famille rose palette together with gilt highlights, four large shaped areas alternate between images of a Chinese court scene and flower and birds bordered by ornate Buddhist treasures, auspicious motifs, fruit and bats, same decoration is repeated on the cover, a large iron red and green glazed foo lion crowns the cover, a red six character mark to underside, comes together with a raised carved wooden stand.
