England, 1820s, decorated in the traditional Imari pattern, each jar fitted with a later wooden cover, the rims decorated with down turned tobacco leaves of alternating cream and gilt, undersides with early Derby backstamp. Appropriate later wooden stands included.
Jar only 6 in.; Jar with cover and stand 9 in.
