Forrest King Moses was the son of American folk artist Anna Mary Roberston "Grandma" Moses. Moses was a fifty-six-year-old farmer when he began to paint pictures in a style very much like his mother's, which celebrated a fading rural life in the Adirondack Mountains in Eagle Bridge, New York.

Good estate condition, frame with minor abrasions.
