Attributed to Virginia, circa 1750-60, shaped crest rail with spurred ears, shaped stiles with chamfer to inside rear edge, tapered back splat set within a molded shoe, flush seat rail, the front and sides with distinctive shaped skirts, slip seat, straight front legs, flush stretcher base, down-swept rear legs.
37.75 x 21 x 20 in., seat height 16 in.
