Circa 1820s, watercolor on ivory, unsigned, the handsome gent with curly coup au vent strawberry blond hair and gentle expression, attired in frilled cravat beneath a black overcoat, set against a cloud filled sky, presented within a Louis XI style gilt bronze frame with mark of Christofle, circa 1870s, the interior backing retaining jeweler's trade card marked B. Barnett Ltd., 71 & 72 Burlington Arcade, London, W1.

Overall good estate condition; minor staining to interior backing; frame with some rubbing to gilt; glass is loose.
