18th century, the decoration in the center shows a table top arrangement filled with sunflowers and ferns, the yellow slip of the rim accents the deep cobalt, both marked on the underside.

From a Private Collection, Washington, D.C. Since the 18th century this design has been referred to as "Peacock" since it is reminiscent of a peacock displaying its feathers, once a common sight at large estates.
Rim chips and fritting; one plate has a chip and later drilled aperture to the foot ring.
