Dutch Marquetry Inlaid Diminutive Vitrine

Circa 1900, two part form, mahogany and mixed wood inlays, oak and deal secondary, the upper case with arched and molded cornice with central carved cartouche, single hinged glazed door, glazed panel sides with shelved and red velvet lined interior, the lower case of bombe form with three drawers, flush sides, font carved ball and claw feet, rear shaped bracket feet, the whole with flowering vine, acanthus scroll and line inlays.

79 x 43 x 24 in.

A good diminutive form, retaining old wavy glass.

Later fabric lining; shrinkage cracks to wait board and left side of case; repair to front left foot; old but later rear feet.
