Sebastian Erard / Maker By Special Appointment To His Majesty and the Royal Family on the right and
Sebastian Erard's Patent 3715 / 18 Great Marlborough Street London on the left. The decoration is Grecian in theme, utilizing caryatids on top of the the pillar, winged musicians on the base, female percussionists on the soundboard and four additional classical forms on the soundbox; the base incorporates eight brass levers with the whole resting on four cast iron paw feet.

From a Private Collection, Washington, D.C. A few drying cracks to the caryatids; the soundboard and soundbox appear intact, however the box has several dings; the gilt decoration is brilliant; some spotting to the brass plates. Overall ready for display; the strings are intentionally loose for transport making the instrument's functionality unknown.
