Circa 1830, watercolor on ivory, unsigned, manner of William Egley (1798-1870), attired in red coat with high gold collar, gold epaulettes, and gold buttons, holding sword and hat, rendered against a complementary green drapery background, presented behind glass in an ebonized frame with oak leaf hanger.
Miniature 4 x 3 in.; frame 6 3/4 x 5 3/8 in.
