Robert Parsons (Persons) (England, 1546-1610) was a Jesuit priest. His text, A memorial for the reformation of England..., first written down at the end of the 16th century, existed in manuscript form only for nearly a century before it was first published as The Jesuit's Memorial in 1690.

Boards scuffed and chipped, with edgewear, and rubbed and bumped corners; spine with later sticker and losses to leather at ends; cracking to joints with upper board loose; partial loss of front paste-down and with bookplate, rear paste-down lacking; wear to free endpapers with losses and chips, and occasional small stain and ink mark; small holes in half-title and title with small piece of leather adhered to lower left corner of half-title and light residue at lower edge; pages lightly toned with occasional minor grime, minimal scattered foxing, and pencil or ink line, (2) leaves with frayed edge or corner, otherwise interior is extremely crisp and clean. A good and complete copy.
