Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Bruno Alberts studied at the Cincinnati Art Academy. Like his brother, John Bernard Alberts, Jr., Bruno was a talented painter and stained glass artist. He was his brother’s caretaker after he took ill. Bruno eventually moved to Florida with his wife in 1935 and opened a successful orchid business. They eventually returned to Kentucky after he retired in the 1960s.
