Second half 19th century, mahogany veneer, oak secondary, one part form, recessed rectangular top with book-matched veneers above a cylinder roll desk with double book-matched veneers with brass applied trim that opens as the writing slide is pulled out to reveal divided interior featuring a tambour prospect door, fluted columns (the left a document drawer), nine small stepped drawers, the bureau with three graduated stepped and shaped drawer, ormolu mounted feet.
