Marked Adam Beyer, Londini Fecit, 1793, Compton Street, Soho, five-octave compass, mahogany, mahogany veneer, light and dark wood inlays, rectangular case, the left side top double hinged opening to reveal three hand-stops, the 61-key keyboard and maker's label, the right side with double hinged lid opening to reveal string and tuning mechanism, top with banded veneer and molded edge, the keyboard decorated with painted floral surround, lower shelf, raised on four square tapered legs with inlaid light wood panel, on casters.
