Caswell County, North Carolina, circa 1840, mahogany veneer, poplar secondary, white marble rectangular top, conforming base featuring an ogee long drawer above a box-front hinged cabinet door with high-grade mahogany veneers and arched upper panel, conforming interior shelf, concave stiles flanked by applied scrolled support columns with distinctive oval applied medallion, bold scrolled front feet, bold turned rear feet.

Some discoloration to white marble; top of rear back board with later trim; some shrinkage separation to door; drawer runner rebuilt.
