Possibly South American, 18th century, appears Honduran mahogany and rosewood, deal secondary, butt-joined case with applied trim, hinged slant lid opens to reveal a divided interior with five shaped drawers all having rosewood fronts, by removing the lower central drawer, the center section pulls out to reveal a hidden dovetailed compartment with rear sliding panel and five small drawers, the lower front panel is hinged and falls forward to reveal five fitted drawers, all drawers retain likely original repousse silver plates and cast pulls (silver content unknown), flush molded base.

The fall front panel with break to left hinge; overall good age appropriate condition; some tight old shrinkage cracks; missing thread pulls to hidden drawers.
