Pennsylvania, circa 1890, carved and polychrome painted wood, glass eyes, natural hair tail, outside or second row stander, modeled in chestnut coat with head slightly turned and front left leg raised, festooned with eagle form cantle, set upon a later the rectangular base with engraved brass plaque reading "DENTZEL / STANDER / Circa 1890-1895."
