Salt glazed stoneware, the first is a pitcher with incised band at the throat, stamped below the band "W.W. BALLARD DOCKERY N.C." (9 in.) (fill repair next to the spout; restoration to the pulled handle.); the second is a a one gallon jug attributed to J.D. Craven Pottery, well turned with a grooved thumb print handle, flange mouth, some salt spotting (9 in.) (a few not apparent base rim chips).
