The first, an Earlene Youngbird-Tafoya (1947-2008) of Santa Clara Pueblo, New Mexico, a small redware bowl with serpentine "Awanyu" decoration to the rim, singed "Earlene" to underside (2 1/2 x 3 1/2 in. dia.); the second, a Missipean Culture style pot, redware with scorching, having a rabbit form handle and flared rim (6 x 5 in. dia.)
