Jacobean Style Carved Oak Blanket Chest

Early 20th century, relief carved hinged lid with intials "SBC," open interior, sides with pierced handles, the front with commemorative date of June 23, 1909.

23 x 44 x 20 1/2 in.

Retains an attractive dark brown patina; some separation cracks (but stable); overall good usable condition.
