Early 19th century, watercolor on ivory, signed lower right, the sitter with hazel eyes and windswept hair, attired in blue coat, yellow waistcoat, and frilled cravat, nicely rendered against a sky-filled background, presented behind glass in an ebonized frame with oval ormolu bezel and oak leaf and acorn hanger.
