From the collection of Judy James. Current ownership since 1964, and was successfully campaigned in hill climbs and speed events throughout the 70's. She continued to race in other cars. She found SCCA, and raced a Honda Civic and a Trans Am Camaro to many track records, awards, and championships. She was the National Solo II champion in 1976 in the Honda, and was awarded SCCA Driver of the Year. The car was moved many times on its jackstands, until Judy's retirement to Southport, North Carolina in 2010. The MGA underwent a five-year, frame off restoration. Her idea was to restore the car to 50's-60's racing specs. This included vintage bomber seats, a cut down windshield, and racing wheels. A fuel cell is installed in the trunk and a single/removable hoop roll bar was added. the car isn't currently legal for racing spec, but can be licensed for the street. Extensive documentation of the rebuild is present in a binder with receipts, and tech sheets as well as copies of the original ownership documents.

The following condition report, while thorough, is not exhaustive as vintage cars have inherent wear and imperfections. We welcome personal inspections.

The tachometer readout isn't correct, it appears to be +2000 rpms; speedometer appears to be incorrect, will verify; the fuel gauge is also intermittent, but has a manual check in the fuel cell; three small dings appear in the paint, that can be corrected by PDR; panel alignment varies and is not consistent, more pronounced on drivers door; a crack appears at drivers side of grille; no other apparent concerns.
