Circa 1820, a pair of Staffordshire plates featuring a fierce dragon in blue against an iron red field (9 1/2 in.) (several underside foot rim nicks) underglaze blue marks to the underside and (3) pieces of tableware, attributed to Spode, hand-painted with a lre flower, each petal decorated with a vignette of a small dwelling or a flowering tree (plate 8 1/4 in.) (some wear to the gilt rim).
