Circa 1700, pine secondary, two part form, upper bookcase with an arched molded cornice, applied rondel to the frieze, two hinged raised panel doors with well developed interior having (20) pigeon holes, six document compartments, one open compartment and three small drawers, the bureau with lipped slant lid and loper supports opening to reveal a central raised panel prospect door with shelved interior flanked by two document drawers surmounted by one thin long drawer, six pigeon holes and eight small drawers, the case with one over two over two cock beaded drawers, recessed panel sides, applied bracket foot base.

Restoration, including later upper molding to left/right sides of cornice; some later screws to hinges; possibly a later slant lid; warp to upper right door; separation cracks to sides of case; right side of case rear lower edge with old cut outs and wear; later bracket foot base; insect damage; later pulls.
