Late 19th century, includes two vases hand painted in blue with large shaped reserves to front and back populated with peonies and lotus blossoms together with butterflies, outside a peony scroll ground has two large "double happiness" motifs, same decoration is featured on the neck of both vases, key motif encircle the rims, both necks are flanked with blue shaped handles, similar sizes, present nicely as a matched pair.
