A beautifully bound volume with very light rubbing to gilt on spine; light grime at endpapers, title page partially detached with small repair at inner margin and large stain impacting the following (2) leaves, ownership signature on title and (2) other pages with writing in pencil on several additional pages; interior overall lightly toned with first two leaves and plates more heavily toned, with offsetting, scattered light to moderate foxing, and occasional small stain or grime; one leaf with small loss at outer margin not impacting text; one pear plate with 3 3/4-in. tear, final plum plate with repair to verso, some plates trimmed close and occasionally too far with small portion of fruit cut off; damp staining at gutters in index. About very good.
