Third quarter 19th century, ebonized wood serpentine case with a dual hinged lid featuring brass, wood, and mother of pearl inlays, removable fitted interior with gilt metal handle, two decanters and six cordials, all with engraved motifs, the case with hinged side panels, on turned wood feet, not marked.

Some lifting to brass inlays with associated gilt retouching; retains key; some rubbing to the ebonized patina at the case; age cracking to base, some veneers, and horizontal crack to front panel.
