Boards with expected age wear including scuffing, chipping, and creasing, with bright re-backed spines; hinges with small repairs and mild cracking; interiors with light to moderate toning and foxing and occasional light grime; first volume with ownership signature on first free endpaper and one leaf with 1 1/2 in.-tear; second volume with small damp stain impacting first few leaves, one leaf with small burn mark, and occasional pencil writing and lightly frayed edge; a very good and sturdy set.
