A Japanese Imari Porcelain Serving Bowl and Platter

Late 19th and early 20th century, includes a small scalloped rim bowl decorated in blue and white with plum blossom branches and a longevity symbol to center, the exterior sides with bands of colorful textile patterns, and a scalloped rim oval platter decorated in the Imari pattern.

Bowl 5 1/4 in., 10 5/8 in. diameter; Platter 12 x 14 in.

Bowl has a small area of glaze loss to center well, and a chip to foot rim; some minor loss to enamels to center of platter.
