Signed and dated by Frost on title page: "Robert Frost / 1939." (Boards with minor edgewear, corners mildly bumped and rubbed, spine ends lightly rubbed with some rubbing to gilt, slight separation from text block at head; unfortunate large area of green damp staining (likely from original jacket) at top edge and small portion of fore-edge, impacting many leaves and frontispiece with thin and faint area of damp staining at margins; endpapers toned with offsetting and damp staining, ownership signatures on front paste-down; prelims with some toning, foxing, and spotting, inscriptions on Contents page, and light toning throughout with occasional small mark or area of grime; a good minus copy/lacking jacket.)
