Morse made the most significant decoys from Churches Island, if not in all of North Carolina. He lived behind Ned Burgess and they became good friends. They each had their own style. Burgess birds are more available whereas Morse birds are not. This example was hunted over at the False Cape Gunning Club, False Cape, Virginia.
Original paint with light gunning wear, 2 inches of the base of the neck is professionally replaced.
