Watercolor on ivory, the first a half-length portrait of a stately gentleman in uniform holding bicorne hat and saber, and wearing earring, signed illegibly and dated 1809 to lower left plinth, standing against a landscape (miniature 3 1/4 in. diameter); the second of a dark haired gentleman in uniform groomed in mutton chops, unsigned (2 5/8 in. diameter), both framed behind glass.

Half-length portrait with to vertical hairlines, and mounted to backing. Brass frame missing side pins.
