Early to mid 20th century, includes two stools: the first is octagonal in shape, painted with birds and flowers in shaped register to the sides, above are flowers and key motif borders, the second is round with ruyi head metal fittings with rings to sides, pierced coin motif to cover, body is decorated with two large shaped reserves one with Chinese children playing under peaches the other with a scenic seaside landscape, both have lids that can be removed for storing items.
