Watercolor on ivory, the first in oval format of a blue-eyed sitter in black dress with lacework collar and bonnet, the verso inscribed "For Margaret Taylor / after my Decease / Elizth Addison", interior retains an inscribed letter mostly illegible (miniature 2 3/4 x 2 1/4 in.); the second facing more frontally attired in black dress and white ribboned bonnet, against a green ground with red curtain, unsigned, pencil inscribed "Aunt Jo" to backing (4 x 2 3/4 in.)
