The first executed in watercolor on ivory wafer, depicting a blue-eyed lady in pale pink dress with high ruffled collar, against a red curtain and sunset landscape, inscribed to verso backing "Painted by / H H Harding / 114 New Bond St. / London 1821," presented behind glass within an ormolu bezel with blue velvet matting (miniature 5 x 3 1/2 in.); the second in oil on panel, unsigned, the sitter attired in blue dress, red shawl, and lacework bonnet, behind glass in ebonized frame (panel 3 1/2 x 3 1/4 in.)

Larger matting dimensions: 7 1/2 x 5 3/8 in.
