20th century, an uchikake kimono with ivory silk ground embroidered in metallic thread with the auspicious "The Three Friends of Winter" pine, plum and bamboo together with red crest cranes representing longevity, interior with red lining, this robe was meant to be worn as an outer coat during a traditional Japanese wedding ceremony.
