Serial number 5135636 on top of receiver, 18 in. barrel marked INLAND MFG DIV / GENERAL MOTORS / 4-44 and N.A. CO. / RIDGEFIELD, N.J. with fixed front sight, adjustable rear sight and bayonet lug, walnut stock stamped with 5135636 on each side of buttstock, 50 stamped on each side of stock shoulder, and number 1 in a circle beneath stock grip, original metal buttplate, bayonet hilt marked US M4 IMPERIAL with flaming bomb stamp, sheath marked USM8A1 / BM CO.

Overall good estate condition, barrel and receiver have scuffs, stock has field marks from age and normal use, bayonet's hilt is loose between blade and grip.
