From the Personal Collection of Mr. Kroghie Andresen, Charlotte, North Carolina Purchased on August 31, 1999 from Stanley Griggs, son of Pinnell Griggs from Poplar Branch, North Carolina.
This Peter Parker coot ended up in the Pinnell Griggs stand which he used to hunt commercially. Pete was a market hunter by trade but this diminutive coot was probably made after his market hunting activities. The body is made of cork applied to a juniper board. The head is from an inverted tree limb.
