Josh Brewer grew up near the Chesapeake Bay and was never far from the hunting grounds where his father taught him to hunt at an early age. He credits local carvers such as Grayson Chesser, Bobby Swain, Rich Smoker, Arthur Leonard, and Oliver Lawson as his influences. His work is celebrated for its attention to detail and craftsmanship, reflecting both the functionality needed for hunting and the aesthetic qualities appreciated by collectors.
