Edo period (1615-1868), includes Eizan Kikugawa (1787-1867), diptych,
kakemono-e, circa 1810, features a large tiger emerging from behind a bamboo stalk, signed to lower right corner (good color; trimmed; toning; some scattered minor foxing; not examined outside of the frame), and Utagawa Yoshikazu (fl. 1850-1870), diptych,
kakemono-e, circa 1822, features a large tiger in a bamboo grove, signed to left of center (trimmed; toning; foxing; some creases; some fading; not examined outside of the frame), both presented identically in gilt wood frames with mats under glass.
