Ninetta was born in Berlin, Germany. She studied architecture and in 1941, after her father’s death, she and her mother were evacuated to Bad Kösen. When the war ended, she painted soldiers’ portraits and worked as a poster artist. In 1947, she married the landscape painter Wilhelm Bruckner and they moved to the United States.
Her paintings became highly produced in the form of art prints. Her surrealist and magical realist works were sought after. After her retirement in 1987, she worked as an independent artist, developing her own lazure technique with oil and acrylic colors.
Some yellowing to the varnish.
