AnaMaria Samaniego, an award-winning Master Printer, explores her surroundings in the printmaking medium and brings a sense of intimacy and immediacy to the landscape. Regarding her work, she says, "being a Santa Fe resident is an opportunity to explore, from the desolate landscape to the rich waterways under the spectacular light of New Mexico. Ultimately, the art work takes a life of its own with all the beauty of light, texture, formations, and tone" She is active in the Contemporary Hispanic Market and has won numerous awards for excellence.
