DAVIS & SONS / AJAX / DAVIS WARNER ARMS CORP. / NORWICH, CONN, U.S.A on left side, double triggers, checkered walnut stock and forend with original buttplate.

Founded in Boston, Massachusetts, the company gained a reputation for its craftsmanship and reliable firearms, particularly its double-barrel shotguns. The company ceased operations in the early 20th century, but its firearms remain valued by collectors and enthusiasts today.
Overall good estate condition, barrels have oxidation, surface scratches and some finish wear, bores have hazy shine, receiver has some color casing remaining, stock and forend have field marks from age and normal use, buttstock has missing wood over right shoulder and directly behind upper tang.
