Caswell County, North Carolina, circa 1850, mahogany veneer, white pine secondary, hinged rectangular mirror with ogee surround supported by distinctive applied carved and shaped stiles, two upper flush small drawers over on ogee drawer over three recessed drawers flanked by S-curved stiles terminating in bold scrolled front feet, flush sides, rear turned legs.

75 x 40 x 19 in.

Some pencil script present in the left upper drawer and numbering throughout.

Mirror with later glass; later leather strip to secure mirror (otherwise leans forward); some shrinkage cracks, small chips and patches at edges and case joints; some old marring to right side of case; overall good presentation.
